The Gran Castillo Tagoro hotel is designed for kids and families to have a fantastic holiday on the island of Lanzarote. A lot of thought has gone into providing the services and facilities that make a memorable family holiday, like a chilled out area for adult only , or the family area with 4 pools and refreshment bar for all the family.
The hotel is situated right beside the fabulous beach promenade, which takes you on a very pleasant stroll into Playa Blanca. In around 15 minutes you’ll find yourself that the beautiful marina.
The Gran Castillo Tagoro hotel offers a range of sport facilities and an elite gym. For entertainment there is a 5D cinema plus nightly entertainment shows. The hotel offers half board and all inclusive board basis, it has 3 restaurants in which to pick from.

There are different options when it comes to choosing your room, deciding which to go for may be harder than you think. The design, layout and sheer space found in every one of the rooms makes them perfect for families, however there are also adult-only options in specially designated quiet zones of the hotel if you’re looking for an extra relaxing break as a couple.
The room types on offer are superior Confort Room, Superior Double room or Superior rooms with ocean views. They offer king size or two single beds, a sofa bed in the integrated lounge area and a large fully equipped bathroom with twin basins, jet shower and bathtub. Other features include tea and coffee-making facilities, a furnished terrace, complimentary safety deposit box, pillow menu, mini fridge.
The Superior Family room has a door separating the bedroom and living room with the sofabed.
There is also a selection of Suites to pick from. Some are in adult only areas.
There is a baby club with specially adapted facilities for babies aged from 6 months to 4 years. The group sizes are small so each infant gets the attention he or she needs. Caregivers (1 or 2 per day depending on availability) can care for a maximum of 5 babies each. With a sleep room, games area and outdoor shaded playground, activities are designed around what they feel like doing, and the best bit is that it’s right next to the swimming pool, which means you can pop in and check up on them whenever you like. This service is free of charge for all guests, who may use it once a day (morning or afternoon) for a maximum of 2 hours, and is always subject to availability.
There is a mini club Camelot for children from 4 years to 12 years. There is an extensive activity programme which offers a bit of everything, from sport or video games to make-believe and craftwork. No matter how your child prefers to enjoy their time, they’ll have hours of fun at the kids club.
Playground – Located just outside the entrance to our fantastic Camelot Club, beside Portofino Restaurant, children will discover a corner of the hotel that’s 100% devoted to their enjoyment. Slides, swings, a seesaw, monkey bars and a climbing frame will test their strength and coordination while burning off some of that excess energy. There’s also the added plus of a bouncy castle several times a week, which is set up directly beside the park.
Dragon Pool –Â Aquatic Adventures.
The Dragon Pool is found right at the heart of Castleland; a place of laughter, excitement and fun for the family, where shrieks of delight from smiling water babies ring in the air. The shallow salt waters feature various attractions for children including water slides, a pirate ship and fountains, all closely supervised by on-site lifeguard between 10:00 and 18:00 every day.

You can choose the thermal spa, where a heavenly combination of water jets, aromatic showers, saunas and hydromassage are combined with an invigorating iced pool and Kniepp circuit to stimulate your circulation and feet; or you can opt for one of the many massages, body and facial treatments that are available, only for adults.
If you are a passionate sports lover and don’t want to stop exercising during your holiday, at the hotels well equipped gym you will be able to continue with your daily gym routine.

The Salon lounge bar ‘Castillo’ is located below the central tower of the hotel. You will enjoy the best shows, prepared by the fantastic entertainment team. There is a different show every evening.
Sports Bar – This is the meeting point to enjoy the best games. There are several screens to follow your favourite sport and share good moments with other fans.
At Gran Castillo Tagoro you will find two large outdoor family pools, a water park pool with many slides, and an adult-only pool with cabanas. There is an indoor pool for guests visiting the spa.
